MacDermott the dog (Mac) is guarding Frankie's head. Frankie is my first disasterous attempt at reborning. Frankie is sporting a full head of poodle hair; Mac's hair, to be exact. Mac fell in love with the doll head and stole it every chance he got! Frankie and Mac's story can be read in the May/June issue of Lifelike Dolls!
Here's Mac posing with the finished doll. I think Mac thinks that Frankie is his puppy!
Frankie is showing off his brand new outfit, a gift from Debbie from Montreal. Debbie is a fellow reborner, a lovely lady! She said that she kept thinking of Frankie and Mac's story while embroidering, and so embroidered him this adorable little outfit! I LOVE the bib with Frankie's name and a picture of Mac embroidered on it! Debbie also sent Pebbles (doll 2, also discussed in my ariticle in Lifelike Dolls) some bonnets and booties; I will get pics up soon!
The new outfit met with Mac's approval! Here he is, freshly groomed, giving his "puppy" a kiss, lol.
Pebbles is a reborn Berneguer play doll. I named her Pebbles at first because I gave her a topknot ponytail, and she really looked like Pebbles Flintstone. After I restyled the hair, I renamed her Allison. You can read about Pebbles in the May/June issue of Lifelike Dolls.
I love this outfit!
LOLOL
I adopted this little guy, Benji, a toy poodle just as I finished my 3rd doll. Shannon Rose started out as a Berengeur Sandie kit. Benji loved her! Shannon Rose has been adopted, and now lives with her new Mommy in Texas.
Poor Benji misses his Shannon, but he has new babies to love.
I'm learning how to do scrapbook images.
Tanya Lynne started as a Secrist Sassy kit. She's a darling preemie; only 17" long and just over 3 Ibs.
Sean Ryan started as a limited edition Matthew kit by Debra Markewicz. This big 24" bouncing boy has been adopted, and now lives with his new Mommy in California. She told me she plans to take him to visit the elderly.
I finished this gorgeous girl on my birthday! I may have to keep her! She came out for my birthday supper with me to meet my family and the waitress and other diners were amazed by her...as were my relatives, lol. She's much cuter in real life; the pics don't do her justice as she's so fair.
In the bottom pic, Brooke is helping me to celebrate my 44th birthday. Mac is in front of us, guarding the cake, lol.
I had so much fun taking photos of this doll for her ebay auction template! I brought her out to our cottage on the shores of Lake Superior and took tons of beautiful pictures.
I wasn't sure that Brandon would find a home on eBay, but he surprised me; several people bid on him and he found a new, loving home where he is cherished by his new Mommies, a mother and her 2 little girls.
I want to keep this one!
Baby Think it Over doll, waiting for sealant to come in the mail (and waiting and waiting, lol).
